Horizon League Champions
Robert Morris beat Youngstown State 89 to 78 for the program's first Horizon League title.
Fort Lauderdale is the program's own city: the training gym sits at 100 SW 9th Ave, a short drive from most neighborhoods here. Three public high schools carry the city's players. Fort Lauderdale High on NE 4th Avenue enrolls 2,260 students and takes Sunrise Middle's eighth graders from NE 14th Street. Stranahan High on SW 5th Place runs on New River Middle, a marine science magnet down Riverland Road in the same zip code as the gym itself. Dillard, a combined 6-12 school on NW 11th Street with close to 2,000 students, skips the separate middle school step entirely. Being the home city cuts both ways: shorter drives, but also the most competition for the same weekly slot.

Coach Blake came to South Florida straight off the college side of the recruiting table: two staffs, two championships, an NCAA Tournament run. Every Fort Lauderdale session gets the same read a college staff would give. Fort Lauderdale is core coverage, so weekly recurring slots are easiest to hold here and rarely get bumped. The method does not change by zip code: screen, isolate, load, read, log. A Fort Lauderdale player builds the exact same foundation as every player in the program.

Coach Blake Kingsley spent the two seasons before founding Fast Basketball on staff for two championship college programs: the 2025 Horizon League champion Robert Morris Colonials and the 2024 NJCAA Region 16 champion Moberly Area Community College Greyhounds. Fifty-one wins combined, two titles, one NCAA Tournament run.

The standard he asks for is the one he holds himself to. That is why players buy in.
