Basketball Training in Tamarac

Millennium 6-12 Collegiate Academy on NW 94th Avenue is the only public school in Tamarac that carries a player to twelfth grade, 1,435 students across seven grades. After that, high school ball belongs to somebody else's city. The community center on West Commercial Boulevard holds the indoor gym, open to eight thirty on weeknights, and it hosts the city league at 90 dollars for residents and 110 for everybody else. A four week fundamentals class for ages seven through thirteen runs 40 dollars. Outdoors, the sports complex on NW 77th Street shares a gate with the skate park, and Waters Edge off NW 61st Street runs until dusk. Tamarac carries a large retirement population, so a player who wants real competition is usually driving to find it.

The Courts

Where we train, and the Tamarac courts we recommend

Every session runs at the Salvation Army Fort Lauderdale Corps gym, 100 SW 9th Ave, Fort Lauderdale. The courts we recommend in Tamarac for work between sessions are Tamarac Community Center, Tamarac Sports Complex, and Waters Edge Park. Tamarac Community Center is at 8601 W Commercial Blvd, Tamarac, FL: indoor gymnasium that hosts city youth basketball, open to 8:30pm on weeknights. Tamarac Sports Complex is at 9901 NW 77th St, Tamarac, FL 33321: outdoor basketball courts sharing a gate with the skate park, tennis and ball fields. Tamarac families come from the neighborhoods near Colony West Country Club, Woodmont Country Club, and the Sunday farmers market at Veterans Park, and a standing weekly slot is what keeps the drive predictable.

Why Here

Why Tamarac families choose Fast Basketball

Coach Blake came to South Florida straight off the college side of the recruiting table: two staffs, two championships, an NCAA Tournament run. Every Tamarac session gets the same read a college staff would give. Tamarac runs on a scheduled rotation, so booking a recurring weekly slot early keeps the same time all season. The method does not change by zip code: screen, isolate, load, read, log. A Tamarac player builds the exact same foundation as every player in the program.
